Yeah, I know the Insider Tour is kind of awesome. Believe me, it’s what we’re focusing on here as well. But you know what else is deserving of attention? Games! Specifically, the games you guys play. And without further ado, here are the retail games you all played the most last week while connected to Xbox LIVE.
I have to be honest, it warms my heart that Fallout 3 continues to hold onto a spot in the top 10. The guys at Bethesda really made a gem with that one and it’s good to see so many people playing it still.

I know I’ve missed doing this last week. Sorry about that! Worth it though. I got to play ODST, Forza 3, Lips #1 Hits, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero… yeah, it was worth it.

Since I’ll be sipping wine in the Hunter Valley the last half of this week instead of dutifully combing through reports (it’s tough, I know, but someone has to do it) I’m moving the top 10 up this week. Retail today, Arcade tomorrow.
And with that, let’s look at the top 10 retail games played by gamers connected to Xbox LIVE in the last week. Note that, as usual, this isn’t the amount of time played, but the number of unique users who played the title.

And Fable 2 continues its stint in the top 10, which is just as great as last week, and also just as puzzling. I still have no idea where all you Fable junkies are coming from. I’m glad I’m not alone in my Fable <3.

Look at that! Guitar Hero pops up on the global top 10. Looks like it’s creeping up there on Rock Band! Other than that, no real surprises. At least, nothing we haven’t seen before. It makes me feel so jaded.

A couple differences, but no major ones we haven’t seen before. We rate [PROTOTYPE] and Halo Wars (yay!) more than the global favourites Left 4 Dead and UFC 2009 Undisputed. Guitar Hero vs Rock Band is also a regular character here but as some have pointed out, it’s moot since Rock Band 2 isn’t released here. I’m curious. What difference makes Rock Band 2 so different from Rock Band 1? I know the DLC works the same on both so it seemed like a non-issue to me, but seems to matter a lot to many of you.
