Xbox is Running for Charity

26 11 2010

We in the Xbox team have decided to put our legs to good use and participate in the FOXTEL Lap on December 3, raising funds for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. We’re happy to sweat for it but we need your help.

If you’re interested in sponsoring me or the entire Xbox team, please go here. You can sponsor an individual runner (I’m registered as Ashley Jenkins (XBOX – NSW) or sponsor our entire team (registered as XBOX – NSW) as we tag team to keep the treadmill going for 10 straight hours. I’m aiming to run 50 100m laps, or 5K, in 30 minutes and that’s faster than I’ve ever run for that long so I could really use the motivation!

The FOXTEL Lap is held in support of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Australia’s largest and most prestigious child health research organisation.

Proceeds from the event support research into  priority areas such as diabetes, cancer, asthma, premature birth, genetic conditions, obesity and mental health problems to help children lead happier, healthier lives.
